Anti-C9 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes Complement component C9, the terminal pore-forming subunit of the membrane attack complex (MAC) in the complement cascade. C9 polymerizes on target membranes to assemble the lytic pore that mediates complement-dependent cell lysis, supporting studies of innate immunity, transplant rejection, and complement-mediated pathology.

The reagent is provided as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) at approximately pH 7.3, with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. It is unconjugated, raised in rabbit, and validated for Western blot on human and rat samples. For handling, aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycling and store frozen at -20 °C; protect from light during routine use.
