Anti-C4BPB Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets C4BPB (Complement Component 4 Binding Protein Beta), the beta chain of the circulating C4-binding protein complex that downregulates the classical and lectin pathways of complement activation. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG, the antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human specimens, supporting studies of complement regulation, innate immunity, hepatic protein expression, and inflammatory disease mechanisms.

The vial contains 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For routine immunoblotting, dilute the stock into blocking buffer and store working aliquots at 4°C; for longer projects, keep the stock frozen at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve affinity. Researchers working with cell lysates, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, or fixed cell preparations can apply the antibody directly after optimization of antigen retrieval and secondary detection.
