Anti-C2 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against complement component C2. Validated for Western blotting, the unconjugated IgG reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and is accompanied by one scientific validation image. It is supplied as a liquid formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity purified.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 150–250 of human C2 (NP_000054.2), with the peptide sequence HCPNPGISLGAVRTGFRFGHGDKVRYRCSSNLVLTGSSERECQGNGVWSGTEPICRQPYSYDFPEDVAPALGTSFSHMLGATNPTQKTKESLGRKIQIQRS. The reported molecular weight of the target is 70 kDa / 110 kDa.

The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
