Anti-C1QTNF5 Antibody

From the catalogue entry and manufacturer datasheet, this polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and targets C1QTNF5, also referred to as CTRP5. It is of the IgG isotype and supplied unconjugated, with reactivity confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent has been validated for Western blot applications.

The immunogen used was a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 16–243 of human C1QTNF5 (NP_056460.1), and the target protein is reported to migrate at 36 kDa. The antibody is provided as a liquid preparation in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. A recommended working dilution of 1:500–1:2,000 is given for Western blotting.
