Anti-C1QBP Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the Complement component 1 Q subcomponent-binding protein (C1QBP) and is supplied in the 50 µL size. It is formulated as Rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at a working concentration of approximately 1.0 mg/mL. The unconjugated preparation is intended for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human samples, having been validated on Jurkat, K562 and HUVEC cell extracts for WB and on paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue for IHC. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of total C1QBP protein and was generated using a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human C1QBP, then affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. Polyclonal in clonality and unconjugated in form, it is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve reactivity.
