Anti-C17orf70 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against C17orf70, marketed under the alternative target name FP100. Supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation by Antibodies.com, the reagent is affinity purified and provided in liquid form, formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

Validated for Western blot, the antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 652–881 of human C17orf70 (NP_079437.5), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 110 kDa. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000.

The target is also known as FAAP100 (FA core complex associated protein 100), mapped to chromosome 17, with reported subcellular localisation in the nucleoplasm and cytosol. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
