Anti-c-Myc (phospho Ser62) Antibody [33A12E10]

The clone 33A12E10 selectively recognises the c-Myc transcription factor only when phosphorylated at serine 62, a modification catalysed by the ERK/MAPK cascade that stabilises Myc prior to subsequent Thr58 phosphorylation and Fbw7-driven proteasomal turnover. Supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µg of purified IgG2b in liquid form, the reagent is validated for western blot, immunofluorescence, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and ELISA on human and mouse specimens. For long-term storage, aliquot the antibody and freeze at -20 °C to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
