Generated in rabbit hosts, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the c-Myc transcription factor, a basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper protein central to cell cycle progression, metabolism, and oncogenesis. The antibody recognizes endogenous c-Myc across human, mouse, and rat samples and is widely deployed in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows, where it is applied to detect both native protein and engineered c-Myc tag fusions. Provided in a 100 µl volume, the reagent is suited to immunoblotting of total cell lysates, IHC staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and plate-based binding assays. As a research use only reagent, it supports studies in cancer biology, signal transduction, stem cell research, and transcription factor biology, where reliable detection of c-Myc expression is critical.
