Anti-c-Myc Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com as a research-grade Primary Antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against c-Myc and affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human c-Myc). The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in a liquid formulation containing PBS with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is provided as a 50 µl aliquot. Validated applications include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and Immunohistochemistry, with recommended dilutions of 1/500–1/2000 for WB, 1/100–1/300 for IHC, 1/200–1/1000 for ICC/IF and 1/40,000 for ELISA; performance in other applications has not yet been tested. The polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of c-Myc protein and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species profiling. For shipping and storage, the vial is dispatched at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
