Anti-c-Myb Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and specifically targets endogenous c-Myb protein, detecting it only in its non-acetylated form at the K480 residue. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the human c-Myb sequence flanking the K480 non-acetylation site, and the reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific affinity chromatography. Supplied as an unconjugated liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, the 50 µl aliquot is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications and has been confirmed to react with both Human and Mouse samples. Known by the synonyms MYB, Proto-oncogene c-Myb and Transcriptional activator Myb, this reagent is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
