Anti-c-Myb Antibody

This rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the c-Myb transcription factor and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG at 1 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial. It was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human c-Myb flanking the non-phosphorylation site at serine 12, then affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of c-Myb in samples of human and mouse origin and is validated across four immunoassay platforms: ELISA, Western Blot (WB), immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The product is provided as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. For handling, it is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles strictly avoided to preserve reagent activity. Intended for research use only, this polyclonal is well suited to laboratories investigating MYB-mediated transcriptional regulation, proto-oncogene signalling and haematopoietic or leukaemic cell biology where sensitive, multi-application detection of endogenous c-Myb protein is required from a single, well-characterised host reagent.
