Anti-c-Jun (Ab-170) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against an internal region of the human c-Jun transcription factor, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes an epitope centered near residue 170 of c-Jun. The c-Jun protein is a core component of the AP-1 (Jun/Fos) transcription factor complex, and its transcriptional activity is regulated by JNK-mediated phosphorylation at residues including Ser63 and Ser73. Detecting the ~39 kDa c-Jun band is a standard readout for JNK pathway activation in studies of cellular stress, apoptosis, and proliferation across multiple species.

Each 100 µL vial is supplied as a primary antibody reagent and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples.
