Anti-BTRC Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against BTRC (Beta-Transducin Repeat Containing E3 Ubiquitin Protein Ligase), the F-box substrate-recognition subunit of the SCF^β-TrCP E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The unconjugated reagent is supplied in a 100 µL vial and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples.

BTRC (also known as β-TrCP) docks the phosphorylated DSGxxS destruction motif on substrates such as β-catenin, IκBα, CDC25A, and the NF-κB precursor p105, marking each for polyubiquitination and proteasomal turnover. Researchers use this reagent to study Wnt/β-catenin and NF-κB signaling, cell cycle checkpoint control, and post-translational regulation of SCF substrates in cancer biology, immunology, and stem cell research.
