Anti-BTRC Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the β-TrCP F-box protein (gene symbol BTRC), this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com detects the substrate-recognition subunit of the SCF^BTRC E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The reagent recognizes BTRC in human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, supporting studies of cell cycle progression, Wnt/β-catenin signaling, NF-κB regulation, and phosphodegron-dependent proteasomal turnover. Because β-TrCP couples phosphorylated degron recognition to ubiquitin-dependent destruction, the antibody is useful for tracking steady-state protein levels, SCF complex assembly, and signaling-driven degradation events.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, an unconjugated format that permits direct dilution for immunoblotting and immunostaining, as well as downstream conjugation or labeling when desired. The glycerol-containing stock should be stored at -20°C, with working aliquots kept frozen to preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
