Anti-BTK (phospho-Y222) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises BTK (Bruton's tyrosine kinase) phosphorylated at Tyrosine 222 and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. It reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human BTK around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 222. It specifically detects endogenous levels of BTK protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr223, with a reported molecular weight of approximately 77 kDa.

The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
