This unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG antibody targets Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), a cytoplasmic non-receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a central role in B-cell receptor (BCR) signaling, B-cell maturation, and innate immune responses. Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, it is supplied at 50 µL per vial and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications across human and mouse samples.

BTK is widely investigated in the context of B-lineage leukemias and lymphomas, where its constitutive activity supports tumor cell survival and proliferation. Loss-of-function mutations in the BTK gene cause X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA), making the kinase a frequent subject of immunology and signal transduction studies. Researchers studying BCR pathway components, Lyn/Syk/BTK signaling cascades, or downstream phospholipase C-gamma-2 (PLCγ2) activation can use this reagent as a capture antibody in IP-based kinase assays and as a specific band detector in Western blotting of whole-cell lysates from B-lymphoid lines such as Ramos, Raji, or primary murine splenocytes.

The antibody is provided in an unconjugated format, allowing flexibility to conjugate it in-house to HRP, biotin, fluorophores, or beads according to experimental design. Store aliquots at -20 °C in single-use fractions to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light if a downstream fluorescent labeling step is planned. As an IgG isotype antibody raised in mouse, it is compatible with standard anti-mouse IgG secondary reagents for both chemiluminescent Western blot detection and immunofluorescence workflows on lymphoid tissue sections.
