Anti-Btk Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue of primary antibodies, this rabbit-derived reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The polyclonal antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from human Btk around the non-phosphorylation site of Y223, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. It is unconjugated and is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, where it is intended to detect endogenous levels of Btk protein. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in Human, Mouse, Rat and Monkey samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve reagent performance.
