BTG1 (B-cell translocation gene 1) belongs to the BTG/Tob family of anti-proliferative proteins that regulate cell cycle progression, transcription, and mRNA stability in differentiating and quiescent cells. The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize the BTG1 target across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative expression studies in cell lines and primary tissue.
Validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows, the unconjugated IgG is supplied at 100 µL and lets researchers pair the reagent with secondary antibodies matched to their preferred detection chemistry, including HRP-based chemiluminescence, fluorescent imaging, or multiplexed IF panels. Intended for research use only, the antibody has been used to investigate BTG1's role in lymphocyte maturation, B-cell development, and tumor-suppressor pathways, where altered BTG1 levels correlate with proliferative and differentiation states.
