BST2 (also known as Tetherin, CD317, or HM1.24) is an interferon-induced host restriction factor that anchors budding enveloped virions to the plasma membrane, best characterized for blocking the release of HIV-1 from infected cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against human BST2 and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows, making it useful for tracking BST2 induction by type I interferon and its surface redistribution in virus-infected cultures. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid, supporting probing of BST2 expression in human cell lines and primary cells across cancer biology and antiviral immunity research.
