Anti-BST1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the BST1/CD157 ectoenzyme, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody supports immunodetection of the GPI-anchored ADP-ribosyl cyclase in fixed cells and solubilized protein extracts. BST1 hydrolyzes extracellular NAD+ and contributes to ADP-ribosyl cyclase activity, coupling nucleotide signaling to intracellular calcium mobilization. The protein is expressed on myeloid lineages, including neutrophils and monocytes, and on bone marrow stromal cells, where it modulates adhesion, chemotaxis, and pre-B-cell expansion; GWAS studies also link BST1 variants to rheumatoid arthritis and type 1 diabetes susceptibility.

Validated by Antibodies.com for western blot and immunocytochemistry, this reagent recognizes human, mouse, and rat BST1, enabling cross-species studies of myeloid differentiation and stromal-cell signaling. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH approximately 7.2, with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. Each vial contains 50 µl of polyclonal reagent for use across multiple immunoblots and ICC experiments.
