Anti-BST-2 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this affinity-purified antibody targets the human BST-2 protein (also known as HM1.24 antigen / Tetherin, CD317) and is raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human BST-2. The antiserum is purified by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, enabling it to detect endogenous levels of BST-2 in research samples. Each pack contains 50 µL of liquid antibody at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS supplemented with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and supplied unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream detection workflows. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA applications with confirmed reactivity against human samples. For routine handling, the antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
