Anti-BSG Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against BSG (also known as CD147). The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, supplied as a liquid. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunoprecipitation (IP), and it reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 286–385 of human CD147/BSG (NP_001719.2), and the antibody is affinity purified. Observed molecular weight is 38–65 kDa. The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal; concentration is lot specific.

It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, and IP 1:500–1:1,000.
