Anti-BRE Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the BRE protein — also known as BABAM2, BRCC45, or BRCA1-A complex subunit BRE — and is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG preparation in a 100 µl volume. The antibody is generated against a recombinant fragment spanning amino acids 9–338 of BRE and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence workflows on human and mouse samples. It is provided in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline (pH 7.0) supplemented with 10% glycerol and 0.01% thimerosal as a preservative, shipped on cold packs at 4 °C. For routine use, the vial should be stored short-term at 4 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and hold at −20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Researchers studying the BRCA1-A and BRISC complexes, as well as those investigating DNA damage response and reproductive-tissue biology where BRE/BABAM2 plays a role, will find this reagent well-suited to detection of the endogenous target in cell and tissue preparations.
