Anti-BRCA1 (phospho-S1423) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against BRCA1 phosphorylated at Serine 1423, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The unconjugated reagent is reactive with human and rat samples and is presented at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human BRCA1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 1423. It detects endogenous levels of BRCA1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser1423, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of approximately 200 kDa.
