Anti-BRCA1 (phospho-S1423) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com that selectively recognizes the BRCA1 tumor suppressor only when phosphorylated at serine 1423, an ATM/ATR kinase target site engaged during the cellular DNA damage response.

Because phosphorylation at S1423 marks the activated, chromatin-bound form of BRCA1 recruited to double-strand breaks and stalled replication forks, this reagent supports studies of homologous recombination repair, S-phase checkpoint signaling, and genome stability in fixed tissue sections.

Validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is provided as a 100 µl vial.
