Anti-BRCA1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent targets the BRCA1 tumor-suppressor and is supplied at the 50 µl pack size as a 1 mg/mL liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The unconjugated antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthesized peptide derived from human BRCA1 around the non-phosphorylation site of S1423), and it detects endogenous levels of BRCA1 protein. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, and shows reactivity with human and rat samples. Upon receipt it should be shipped at 4 °C and then aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
