Anti-BRAF (phospho S445) Antibody

Antibodies.com supplies a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for BRAF phosphorylated at serine 445. The reagent is provided as a liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and the target protein is reported to have a molecular weight of 100 kDa [S1].

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding S445 of human BRAF (NP_004324.2), with an immunogen sequence of RDSSD, and is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype. It has been affinity purified and is reactive with human and rat samples [S1][C0].

Validated for Western blot (WB), the antibody is recommended for use at dilutions of 1:500–1:2,000. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided [S1][C0].
