Anti-BPI Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets BPI (Bactericidal/Permeability-Increasing Protein), a 55 kDa cationic antimicrobial protein expressed in neutrophils and mucosal epithelia. BPI neutralizes endotoxin by binding the lipid A moiety of lipopolysaccharide and disrupts Gram-negative bacterial membranes, linking innate immunity to inflammatory and barrier-defense research.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human and mouse specimens, the reagent is unconjugated, allowing direct detection with user-selected secondary reagents and flexible chromogenic or fluorescent readouts.
