Anti-BPH Antibody [YBPH-1]

Clone YBPH-1 is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody raised against bullous pemphigoid (BP) antigen, supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation of 100 µg. The reagent targets hemidesmosomal proteins recognised by autoantibodies in patients with bullous pemphigoid, an autoimmune subepidermal blistering skin disease, and is validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human skin biopsies. As an unconjugated primary antibody, it fits workflows using enzyme- or fluorescence-labelled secondary reagents in indirect immunofluorescence and chromogenic IHC detection. The IgM isotype makes it a useful addition to diagnostic panels distinguishing BP from other subepidermal blistering disorders such as epidermolysis bullosa acquisita. Reconstitution in sterile buffer before use is recommended, and the lyophilised format allows stable storage protected from light at the recommended temperature.
