BORIS (Brother of the Regulator of Imprinted Sites), also known as CTCFL, is a chromatin insulator protein and cancer-testis antigen normally restricted to testicular germ cells. Aberrant reactivation of BORIS occurs across many human malignancies, making it a focus of tumor biology and epigenetic research. This rat monoclonal antibody [KT72] from Antibodies.com recognizes the mouse BORIS protein and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. Supplied as a 100 µg liquid formulation in IgG2a isotype, unconjugated, the reagent supports studies of DNA methylation, imprinting control, and chromatin organization in mouse models. For research use only; recommended storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
