BNIP2 (BCL2/Adenovirus E1B 19kDa-Interacting Protein 2) is a member of the BNIP family that binds BCL2 and the adenovirus E1B 19kDa oncoprotein and modulates small GTPase signalling through its BCH domain. Polyclonal antibodies raised against this target from Antibodies.com support routine detection in two widely used readouts: western blot and immunofluorescence, and the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody.

Specificity is directed against the human BNIP2 sequence, with confirmed cross-reactivity in mouse samples, making the antibody useful for translational studies that compare orthologous tissue. Because the immunoglobulin fraction is unconjugated, the reagent is compatible with standard secondary antibody systems labelled with HRP, fluorophores, or biotin, and it can be incorporated into co-immunoprecipitation workflows when paired with a matched secondary reagent. Storage at -20 °C in working aliquots helps preserve titre across multiple freeze-thaw cycles, and the polyclonal format provides broad epitope coverage for detecting both full-length and processed forms of the protein in cell lysates and fixed sections.
