Bone Morphogenetic Protein 4 (BMP4) is a secreted signaling molecule belonging to the TGF-β superfamily, where it drives mesoderm induction, neural tube patterning, and commitment of mesenchymal precursors toward the osteoblast lineage. The unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human BMP4 sequence and supports research workflows in developmental biology, regenerative medicine, and stem cell differentiation, including investigations of bone and cartilage formation. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, the antibody is validated for Western blot analysis of cell and tissue lysates and for immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, allowing direct visualization of endogenous BMP4 expression in embryonic and adult samples. Researchers studying tooth development, fracture healing, neurogenesis, or signaling through SMAD1/5/9 pathways can incorporate this reagent into standard protocols without a secondary conjugation step.
