Anti-BMP-3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent targets BMP-3, a divergent member of the TGF-β superfamily recognized as a negative regulator of bone mineral density. Unlike most osteogenic BMPs, BMP-3 acts as an antagonist through the activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) and limits the activity of osteogenic family members, making it a focus of skeletal biology, fracture healing, and osteoporosis research. The antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA, and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting both in vitro and in vivo experimental work. Each vial contains 100 µl of liquid antibody; the product is shipped refrigerated and should be stored at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
