BM28, also known as MCM2, is a key component of the minichromosome maintenance complex that licenses DNA replication origins during the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Produced by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal reagent, this antibody was raised against BM28 and cross-reacts with both Human and Mouse samples, supporting comparative work on proliferating cells in tissue specimens and model organisms. Validated across WB, IHC, IF, and ELISA workflows, the antibody enables detection of replicating cell populations in tumor sections, stem cell niches, and developing tissues where BM28 expression marks actively dividing cells. Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera, allowing flexible downstream conjugation or direct use in immunostaining protocols. Researchers studying DNA replication initiation, licensing factor expression, or proliferation biomarkers in oncology and developmental biology will find this reagent useful for both routine and exploratory assays.
