Anti-Bim Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family member Bim (also known as BCL2L11, Bcl-2-like protein 11, or Bcl2-interacting mediator of cell death). The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human Bim, and the antibody recognises endogenous levels of the Bim protein across multiple species, showing verified reactivity with human, mouse, rat, and monkey samples. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal antiserum at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The 50 µL liquid aliquot is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C and should be stored at –20 °C after delivery, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
