Anti-BHMT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against betaine–homocysteine S-methyltransferase 1 (BHMT) and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The 50 µL vial contains affinity-purified IgG that recognizes the endogenous total BHMT protein and is unconjugated, making it suitable for standard immunodetection workflows. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples; the immunogen used for immunization is a recombinant human BHMT protein. For best stability, the antibody should be shipped at 4 °C upon delivery, after which it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance.
