BHLHB2 (also known as BHLHE40, DEC1, or STRA13) is a basic helix-loop-helix family transcription factor implicated in circadian rhythm regulation, hypoxia response, and cell differentiation pathways. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human BHLHB2 target and validated for Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, allowing convenient storage and aliquoting for repeated experiments. Investigators studying transcription factor activity, circadian biology, hypoxia signaling, or tumor suppressor mechanisms will find this polyclonal antibody useful for detecting endogenous BHLHB2 expression across cell lysates and tissue preparations. Glycerol-containing formulations stay liquid at standard freezer conditions and minimize freeze-thaw damage to antibody integrity. The polyclonal nature of the reagent provides multiple epitope recognition, which can be advantageous when probing for full-length protein or detecting targets that may be subject to alternative splicing or post-translational modification. For Western Blot, the antibody can be applied to whole-cell extracts prepared under denaturing conditions, while for Immunohistochemistry it is suitable for use on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections after appropriate antigen retrieval.
