Anti-BGLAP Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targeting BGLAP, also known as osteocalcin. The unconjugated reagent, with an IgG isotype, is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and is also listed for IHC and IF applications. Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1–100 of human Osteocalcin (BGLAP) (NP_954642.1).

Affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, the antibody is supplied as a liquid. The target protein has a molecular weight of 12 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
