Mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody clone F-3, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg lyophilised vial, binds human basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF, also known as FGF2). The unconjugated primary reagent has been validated for ELISA and Western blot workflows, supporting both plate-based quantification and membrane-based detection of this 18 kDa mitogenic protein. Reconstitute the dried pellet in sterile buffer before the first use, then store at -20 °C protected from light; the lyophilised presentation preserves long-term activity and simplifies aliquoting into single-use working stocks. Because bFGF drives angiogenesis, fibroblast proliferation, mesenchymal stem cell maintenance, and tumour vascularisation, clone F-3 is used in wound healing studies, cardiovascular and neuroscience culture work, oncology signalling research, and regenerative medicine projects that need a reliable human-reactive reagent.
