Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone S12-I) is raised against beta Actin and supplied as a liquid preparation. It is validated for Western blotting, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, and immunocytochemistry, and it reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and is unconjugated.

The immunogen is a peptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of human beta actin, and the antibody recognises the epitope located between Ser358 and Ser368. It is formulated in Tris Buffered Saline at pH 8.0, containing 10 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% Sodium Azide. Recommended working dilutions are 1:2,000 for Western blotting and 1:10,000–1:20,000 for ELISA.

The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
