Anti-Beta Actin Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit against the cytoskeletal housekeeping protein beta actin, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody in a 100 µl volume. Beta actin is a ~42 kDa globular actin isoform that forms part of the cytoskeleton in non-muscle cells and is widely expressed across human tissues, which makes antibodies against it a standard loading control in immunoblotting. The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, supporting detection of the ~42 kDa band in lysates from human cell lines and tissue sections. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary antibodies labelled with HRP, fluorophores, or biotin, depending on the chosen assay workflow, and the polyclonal nature of the reagent increases the likelihood of recognising multiple epitopes on the target.
