Anti-beta 2 Microglobulin Antibody [D6D1]

This unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody recognises the human 12 kDa beta 2 microglobulin light chain that associates non-covalently with the heavy chain of MHC class I molecules on the cell surface. Clone D6D1, supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µg of lyophilised powder, is validated for ELISA and Western blot workflows in research use only applications. Beta 2 microglobulin (B2M) is widely used as a loading control for membrane and secreted protein preparations because of its constitutive expression across nucleated cells, while its soluble form is studied as a marker in renal, inflammatory, and lymphoid malignancy research. The antibody reacts specifically with the human target protein and is suited to cell lysates, membrane fractions, and tissue-derived samples of human origin. Reconstitute the lyophilised pellet in sterile water or PBS, aliquot into single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store at -20°C for long-term stability.
