Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this Mouse monoclonal (D2E9) reagent targets human beta 2 Microglobulin and is supplied in a 500 µg lyophilised format for convenient long-term storage. The antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG1 isotype, raised against highly purified beta 2 microglobulin isolated from human urine, and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Reconstitution is performed with double-distilled water to give a final concentration of1.0 mg/ml; the lyophilised product is formulated in 0.01 M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2. Validated for ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence workflows, the clone reacts specifically with human samples and is intended for research applications only. To preserve performance, the lyophilised material should be stored at 2–8 °C for short-term use or frozen at –20 °C for longer periods, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided; once reconstituted, working aliquots can be kept at 2–8 °C for up to one month or held at –20 °C for extended stability. This D2E9 clone is recognised as identical to Abcam's ab198486 reference reagent, making it a reliable option for laboratories studying MHC class I biology, immune cell surface marker expression and related downstream analyses.
