Anti-BECN1 Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Beclin 1 (BECN1), supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation. The reagent is validated for western blotting and immunoprecipitation, with human, mouse and rat reactivity, and is also listed for use in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications.

It was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 25–280 of human Beclin 1 (NP_003757.1). The liquid antibody is affinity-purified and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, with the target protein migrating at approximately 60 kDa. Material is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IP; concentration is lot specific.
