Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Beclin 1 and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The unconjugated reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and detects endogenous levels of the Beclin 1 protein.
The immunogen is a recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 141–451 of human Beclin 1. The antibody has a molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.
