Anti-BDNF Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent, this primary antibody targets Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) and is presented as an unconjugated IgG directed against the mature neurotrophin. The 50 µl vial contains the antibody formulated in 1×TBS at pH 7.4 with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is validated for Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence applications. Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making the reagent suitable for cross-species studies of neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity and neurodegenerative-disease models in which BDNF expression is altered.
