Raised in rabbits against the BCL6 transcriptional repressor, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com supports detection of the target in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. BCL6 is a zinc-finger protein that orchestrates germinal centre B-cell identity and is a defining marker in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and several related B-cell neoplasms, where its locus is frequently mutated or involved in chromosomal translocations.

Validated for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across BCL6, which can be useful when probing truncated fusion products, splice variants, or mutational hotspots relevant to lymphoma research. The antibody is unconjugated, allowing it to be paired with a secondary reagent of choice for immunostaining or western detection.

Typical laboratory uses include visualising germinal centre architecture in lymphoid tissue sections by immunohistochemistry, tracking changes in BCL6 expression after siRNA knockdown or small-molecule inhibitor treatment by Western blot, and localising the protein within nuclear compartments by immunofluorescence. The 50% glycerol formulation is suited to routine freezer storage, with no appreciable loss of activity across standard freeze-thaw cycles, and the 0.1% sodium azide preservative supports direct use in immunostaining protocols without further buffer exchange.
