Anti-Bcl2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 1–100 of human Bcl-2 (NP_000624.2) and affinity-purified, this unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com detects the 26 kDa apoptosis regulator Bcl-2 in western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation workflows. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1:500–1:1000 for IP. The reagent has been internally validated on 293T whole-cell lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane with ECL detection, on paraffin-embedded human appendix tissue using microwave antigen retrieval in 10 mM PBS pH 7.2, on NIH/3T3 cells counter-stained with DAPI, and in immunoprecipitation from 200 µg of THP-1 extracts using 3 µg of antibody. Reactivity is confirmed on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, enabling comparative apoptosis studies in lymphoid, neural, and tumor model systems. Supplied as 200 µl of liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline pH 7.3 with 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300 in a single-use vial.
