Anti-Bcl-X (S56) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Bcl-X (S56) and is validated for WB and IHC applications. The unconjugated reagent is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.

Raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 50-100 of human Bcl-X, the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. It detects endogenous levels of BCL-XL protein and also recognises the Bcl-XS isoform at 19 kDa. Purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and the molecular weight is approximately 26 kDa.
