Anti-Bcl-X (S43) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com as part of the Primary Antibodies range, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the Bcl-X protein. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human Bcl-X. The manufacturer states that the antibody detects endogenous levels of BCL-XL protein and also recognises the Bcl-XS isoform (19 KDa). The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of ~ 26 kDa. Two scientific images are referenced in the manufacturer datasheet.
